Wisconsin has always been my home and I relish the sights and sounds of the ever changing seasons of the Midwest. Living in Milwaukee with my amazing wife Rachel, we have easy access to Lake Michigan, the hustle and bustle of the downtown streets and endless parks and trails to expolore.
In 2010, I poured over photography articles and tutorials, bought myself a shiny new DSLR, … and I was hooked. The unlimited potential for creation was laid out before me and from that moment on I would never utter the words “I am bored”.
When questioning how I could fund this new exciting hobby, wedding photography presented itself. After learning as much as I could (and with the guiding hand of a mentor in the industry), I fell in love with the challenges and spontaneity of this rewarding field, and the wonderful couples I’ve met along the way.
After a decade of photography; occasional trips, random meanderings through local parks and the always interesting strolls on the streets of Milwaukee, my image library has become a treasure trove of undiscovered fun. Finally taking the needed time to dive in and process the photographs that I never found the time to bring to their full potential before, has been oh so rewarding. 2020 was about time to showcase the personal work that feeds my soul and makes me happy.
